A memorial service for Geraldine “Geri” Bloodsworth, 92, of Decatur, will be held Friday, March 21, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Cedar Springs Retirement Home. Interment services will be held on April 19, 2014, at Sapp Cemetery in Bradford County, Florida.
Mrs. Bloodsworth passed away on February 10, 2014, in her home at Cedar Springs. She moved to Decatur in July 2010 from Lake Butler, Fla., where she had lived for the past 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Bloodsworth; one brother, Harry Stroud; and one sister, Evelyn Shannon.
Survivors include one son, Jim Bloodsworth of Madison; one daughter, Kathy Fleming of Tampa, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
