Joe Donald McLemore, Sr., 80, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at his home in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, March 17, 1934 in Blanche, TN he was the son of the late Briggs McLemore and the late Ruth Bishop McLemore. He was preceded in death by brothers Richard (Pete) David, and Larry McLemore, and sister: Rachel Summers.
He enjoyed the outdoors and all types of sports.
Surviving are wife, Joyce McLemore, Murfressboro, TN, son, Joe D. McLemore, Brentwood, TN, daughter, Brenda Henderson, Rockvale, TN, brothers; J.B. McLemore, Jr., Brentwood, TN, Phillip McLemore, Taft, TN, Jerry McLemore, Ripley, MS. grandson, David, grand-daughters, Amy, Nicole, Heather, and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Blanche Cemetery, Blanche, TN.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL

I just found out today that Mr. McClemore passed away. Though I do not know him personally I offer my condolences and prayers. I know Ms. Joyce from Cracker Barrel and just happen to ask about her today when we went for lunch and they told me. She is a sweet person and my prayers for peace and comfort and all the family are going up. Blessings Kathy Warlick
