William “Junior” Jackson 83 of Rogersville died Monday, March 17th, 2014 at ECM Hospital.
Junior was retired from NAFCO and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was known to all by his jokes and sense of humor.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 – 1 at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel with Alex Bayes & Eddie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Civitan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gregg Pounders, Eddie Phillips, Marty Hinton, Tony Shirley, Billy Jackson and Ray Goodman.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Turner and Martha Jackson; brothers, Gilbert, Countis, Arvin and Marvin Jackson and a sister, Wilma Goodman. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris Grigsby Jackson; sister, Nadine Waddell and numerous family members.
