Funeral for Ina Kate Odell Gillman, 53, of Russellville will be Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Jackson Memory Funeral Home with Bro. John Humphrees officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Town Creek. There will be a visitation Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. She died Saturday, March 15, 2014.
Kate Gillman went home with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family and friends after an extended illness.
Kate was preceded in death by her father; Leslie “Willie” Odell Jr. She is survived by her husband, Garland Gillman; daughter, Hope Conville; step children, Scotty Gillman (April), Chris Gillman (Christina), Michelle Barklay (Marquis), Kelly Cain (Orlando); 13 grandchildren; mother, Fay Odell; sisters, Karen Linker (Don), Sondra Butler (Russell); brother, Roger Odell (Debbie) and a host of nieces, nephews and numerous family and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and special staff: Rosa, Tangy, Jeff, Steve and Ralton. Also a special thanks to a loving and supportive community of East Franklin County. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
