FLORENCE-The Northgate Pharmacy had their ribbon cutting on Wednesday, March 12 to celebrate new ownership. Northgate is located at 3522 Cloverdale Road in Florence and has been a staple in the community for over forty years. The Chamber was on hand to help celebrate the ribbon cutting and took photos to memorialize the event.

Northgate Pharmacy, has been proudly serving the Florence community
for over forty years. Northgate is a Health Mart Pharmacy member which
assures everyday low prices on all prescription and over-the-counter
products. The pharmacy offers the same types of programs, buying power
and co-pays as the national chains but
with a small-town atmosphere with
customer care being first priority.
Chad Irons recently purchased Northgate, and while he is the new owner,
he is easily recognized as being a ph
pharmacist at Northgate for the past
seven years. The son of Dr. Rick an
d Terese Irons, Chad is local to the
Florence area; he graduated from Mars
Hill Bible School and then attended
UNA, where he met his wife, Ann-Marie, of Russellville.
They are blessed with two children, Sam and Sara Beth.
Northgate is able to provide a vari
ety of services which includes a home
health department that sells medical supplies and equipment such as CPAP
machines, oxygen and scooters. The pharmacy also has FlavorRx
equipment which adds flavor to chil
dren’s medicine making it easier to
swallow.
Transferring prescriptions to Northgate
is an easy process. Customers may
call in their prescription numbers where
they will speak directly to the
pharmacist or technician or just stop by with their prescription bottles.
Costumers have an average wait time of
less than fifteen minutes for
prescription refills.
Free home delivery is also available to qualified customers.
