Mrs. Patricia Gail Lusk, 68, of Madison, died Monday at Huntsville Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Swafford officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Spry Funeral Home, Athens.
Mrs. Lusk was born May 4, 1945, in Lauderdale County, a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Athens, a teacher at the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, avid flower gardener, bowler, golfer, and enjoyed softball. Kids were a special interest to her. Survivors include husband, Siebert Lusk, Madison; stepdaughters, Janet Lusk, Carpentersville, Ill., and Valerie Provenzano and husband, Paul, Cary, Ill.; brothers, Kenneth Mewbourn and wife, Marie, Grassy, David Mewbourn, Grassy, and Timothy Mewbourn, Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Ann Greene, Athens, Regina Lowrey and husband, Mike, Decatur; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Mutt and Mmie Mewbourn, and brother, Larry Mewbourn.
Pallbearers are Mark Hammond, Jason Mewbourn, Adam Mewbourn, Gregg Mewbourn, Mike Johnson, and Paul Provenzano. Memorials may be made to Clearview Cancer Center, 3601 Sei Drive NW, Huntsville, AL 35805.
