Betty Magdeline Scott age 89 of Sheffield passed away February 28, 2014. Visitation will be March 3, 2014 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm with the service to follow at 4:00pm in the chapel. Interment will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Pastor Greg Cotter officiating.
She was a member of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church for many years. Also members of we’re not dead yet band for 10 + years.
She was preceded in death by Parents Charles Monroe Dye and Lena Pearl McGuire Dye.
She is survived by sons Donald Eudy (Marion), Steven Barkett (Kathy) Gregory Barkett (Sherry) daughter Sonja James, 8 Grandchildren. 13 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearer will be Preston Hattaway, Tristan VanBogart, Reid VanBogart, and Mike Jeffreys
