Ricky Joe Brooks age 55 of Nashville formally of Athens, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2914. Mr. Brooks was born May 29, 1958 in Limestone County, AL to Leo Brooks and Mary Ellen Putman Brooks.
Memorial services will be Sunday, March 2, 2014 2:00 p.m., at Sardis Springs Baptist Church. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home assisting the family.
Preceded in death by his parents, Leo Brooks and Mary Ellen Brooks Aycock; brother, Dennis A. Brooks.
Survived by one sister, Carolyn Haynes and husband, Lynn of Athens; one niece and two nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
