Mrs. Qunnie Moore Gist, 95, of Waterloo, passed away February 24, 2014. She was a member of Waterloo Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with David Rushlow officiating. Burial will follow in Richardson Cemetery, Waterloo, AL.
Mrs. Gist was preceded in death by her husbands, Berlin Moore and Meadows Gist; parents, Robert and Nora Faulkner; children, Barbara Ticer, Jerry Moore.
She is survived by her step-sons, Paul and Gary Gist of Clarksdale, MS; step-daughter, Judy Nolen; daughter-in-law, Brenda Coleman; brothers, Jesse and Doyle Faulkner, all of Florence; sister, Dorothy Herring of Huntsville; grandchildren, Chery South (Randy) of Athens, Tammy Graham (Wayne), Stacy Lamar, Cindy Longcrier all of Florence; great-grandchildren, Scott Smith (Stephenie) of Harvest, AL, Hunter Kelley, Logan Lamar, Taylor Grace and Coleman Longcrier all of Florence.
Active pallbearers will be Scott Smith, Hunter Kelley, Logan Lamar, Wesley South, Tim McFall, and Barry McFall.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy McFall, Jim May, and Herbert Lewis
