ATHENS-Tickets are available for the 22nd annual Poke Sallet Follies, a production where local celebrities and community volunteers act crazy for a cause.
The production raises money for the Athens-Limestone Foundation for Aging, which funds senior

needs and supports other community organizations.This year’s theme is “Home Sweet Home.” Skits include spoofs on Monty Python, an Athens City Council meeting and sports fans. The production is called Poke Sallet Follies as a play on words for the Southern weed polk salad that grows wild in the spring.
The event will be March 6, 7 and 8 at 7 p.m. at the Athens Senior Center at 912 W. Pryor St.
Cost is $35 per ticket, which includes a catered meal.
There are tickets available for all three nights. Tickets area available at the Athens Senior Center from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Mondays from 5-8 p.m. For more information, call 256-233-6412.
