Mary Robinson Steeples, 71, of Decatur died Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Steeples was a member of The Salvation Army for 34 years and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lawson Haynes and Daisy Alice Harris; and her husband, Kenneth Steeples.
She is survived by five sons, Mike (Sissy) Steeples, Phillip (Michelle) Steeples, Jeff Steeples and Donald Steeples, all of Decatur, Kenny (Patricia) Steeples of Falkville; two sisters, Muriel Corum of Moulton and Carolina Gibson of Birmingham; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Major David and Brenda Singletary officiating. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
