James Warren Whitlock, 86, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Mr. Whitlock was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of the Church of Christ. He was retired from Reynolds Metals Company and served in the U.S. Army and Navy.
The funeral service will be Friday, February 21, 2014, at 1:00 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating will be Charlie Britnell and Andy Lane. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Seal Whitlock, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Gary Seal, Terry Pearson, Chris Seal, David Hovater, Anderson Richardson and Cagan Hovater.
He was preceded in death by parents, Roy James Whitlock and Susan Helen Hamilton Whitlock; and brother, Lowel Dale Whitlock.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
