Adam Milam
DECATUR-The Decatur police Department made an arrest on charges of Theft Second Degree and Obstruction of Justice Using False Identity. Here is what they say about the arrest:
“On 12/30/13 JJ’s Heating and Cooling reported the theft of a 16ft. car hauling trailer from the parking lot of the business located in the 3000 block of Valley Ave. SW Decatur Alabama.
An investigation was conducted into the theft of the trailer. As a result of the investigation, Adam Milam was determined to be a suspect in the theft.
On February 10th, 2014, officers of the Decatur Police Dept. made contact with Milam. Milam lied about his name knowing that he had an active misdemeanor warrant through the Decatur Police Dept. Milam was arrested for the misdemeanor warrant. Milam was subsequently charged with Theft in the 2nd Degree and Obstruction of Justice using false Identity. Both charges are class C Felonies.
Milam will be transferred to the Morgan Co. Jail in lieu of a $5000.00 bond after satisfying his $500 bond with the City of Decatur.”
