Elaine Ausborn – Obituary

 Elaine Ausborn, 76, died Monday, February 17, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a long illness. She was born July 27, 1937, in Hamilton, Ala., to Jeffrey and Eva Dulaney Bliss. She was a member of the Center Star Methodist Church in Mantachie. She was retired from North Mississippi Medical Center as an nursing assistant. She enjoyed reading the Bible, doing crossword puzzles, camping, and especially enjoyed being around her family.

Services will be at 2 p .m. Wednesday, February 19, at the McNeece–Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Buddy Rushing officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. McNeece–Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, James Ausborn, Sr., of Tupelo; two daughters, Shelia Work of Tupelo and Renee Rayburn of Pontotoc; one step-son, David Ausborn (Cindy) of Fulton; one step-daughter, Janice Stanton of Tupelo; six grandchildren, Lana Johnson, Christian Rocha (Jaime), Josh Work, Haley Lopez, Cody Singthong, and Megan Rayburn; one great-grandchild, Amari Lopez; several step-grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; and special friends, O’Neal and Eupil Rayburn of Tupelo.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Tuesday, February 18, at the McNeece–Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
