Jacqueline C. Reeves, age 63, of Sheffield, died Sunday, February 16, 2014. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, February 19, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Thursday, at 2:00 p.m., at Friendship Community Church, located on Atlanta Avenue in Sheffield. Frankie Sheats will be officiating the service. Interment will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Reeves was a native of Sheffield, and a member of Friendship Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Doris Thomas Chenault.
Jackie was a loving and devoted wife and mother to both her children and grandchildren. She was a faithful member and Bible Study Teacher at Friendship Community Church. Jackie loved the Lord and family with her whole heart. She touched many lives through her years and lived to one day go to her heavenly home. “To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8.
Survivors include husband, Paul Reeves; daughters, Tammy Ruiz (Jose`), Paula Ayers (Randal), and Kellye Warffeli (John),and Bethany Alsbrooks; brother, Don Chenault and son Cody; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Cody Chenault, Glenn Hamm, Jose` Ruiz, John Warffeli, Tony Hamm, and J.T. Call.
