Lucille Graben Wooten, age 92, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., formerly of Russellville, Ala., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014. Lucille was the widow of the late Oscar Wooten. She had resided in South Carolina for the past eight years. Funeral services will begin with a visitation on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, from 1-2 p.m. followed by the 2 p.m. service in the Akins Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in the Franklin Memory Gardens. Reverend Richard Parker will officiate.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Manderville, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; granddaughter, Stacy Sawyer and husband, Skip, of Fort Collins, Colo.; brother, Hugh Fay Graben, of Hamilton, Ala.; sister, Grace Graben Green, of Huntsville, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
Lucille retired from the Russellville City School system. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Russellville.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Wooten requested that memorials be made to a church or hospice organization of your choice.
