Archer Hugh Kelley, 87, of Florence, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014.
Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, from noon-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Kelley, three brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include daughters, Dianne Kelley Vann, of Florence, and Debra Kelley Shedd, of Muscle Shoals;
grandchildren, Tracey Vann Webster, Chuck Vann (Alison), Louis Shedd (Lindley), and Kellie Shedd Anderson (Christian); great-grandchildren, Jarrod and AJ Webster;
brother, Don Kelley (Dottie);
and sisters, Billie Sue Benton and Mary Frances Arnett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Abston, Billy Poe, Benny Smith, Gary Oden, and Judy Rees.
Mr. Kelley was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and a veteran of the United States Navy where he served during World War II.
A special thanks to his extended family at Columbia Cottage, staff, and residents for the love and care given to our father. Also a special thanks to Dr. Morris and Dr. Mann for their care and friendship throughout the years.
