Mr. Joe Ray Keller, age 87 of Whiteville, Tennessee departed this life Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A lifelong resident of Whiteville, Mr. Keller was born October 26, 1923 to the late John Robert and Sally Rhea Cooper Keller. In April of 1947, he was united in marriage to Jimmie Elizabeth Keller, who preceded him in death March 27, 2013. He served in the United States Army during World War II and worked as a farmer before he retired. He was a member of Whiteville First Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtis Cobb; and two brothers, Harry and Otis Keller.
