Funeral services for Mr. Michael Goff Long, age 65, are scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, February 14, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Pafford Scotts Hill Cemetery. Mr. Long passed away late Monday in Jackson. He was born February 24, 1948 in Decaturville to the late R. T. and Bernice Goff Long. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, a retired truck driver, farmer, and a family man. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mrs. Rose Presley Long, his son, Gregory Michael Long (Krystal), his daughter, Stephanie McCarver (Lynn), his brother, Jeff Long, his sister, Pam Long, and his four grandchildren, Dallas and Katie McCarver and Clayton and Kirsten Long.
