Mary Elizabeth Moore age 86 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Moore was born September 3, 1927 in Limestone County to Frank M. Tucker and Lula Tatum Tucker.
Services for Mrs. Moore are Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be February 13, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery with Matt Stockman officiating.
She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Veterans Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Colvin and husband E.T.; sons, Larry Moore and wife Rhonda, Lanny Moore and Lonny Moore; 9 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brothers, Calvin Tucker and wife Betty and Marles Tucker; sisters, Edith Pope and husband Billy Joe, Stella Darnell and husband Bobby and Janie Pickle and husband Calvin; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lula Tucker; husband, Wilburn Moore; brothers, Billy Tucker and Nathaniel Tucker.
Pallbearers are Larry Moore, Lanny Moore, Lonny Moore, Daniel Moore, Todd Colvin and Jaedon Sneed. Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Stroud, E.T. Colvin and Braydon Edwards
