Ethel “Nella” Patterson Gaston age 82 of Athens, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Gaston was born April 19, 1931 in Limestone County to Earl Patterson and Clara Corinne Neely Patterson.
Services will be Sunday, February 9, 2014 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bud White officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery,
Mrs. Gaston was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survived by two daughters, Angela Russell and husband Benny and Carol Sellars; son, Randy Gaston and wife, Sandra; brother, James “Pat” Ashford Patterson and wife, Chris; sisters, Gena Mae Smith and Nancy Patterson; sister-in-law, Helen Patterson; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Hospice of North Alabama.
