Kerry “Elmo” Smith, age 45, of Smithville, TN passed away Wednesday, February 05, 2014 at Dekalb Community Hospital in Smithville, TN. He was a native of Waynesboro, TN, team leader with Tennecco, and of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis A. Smith and Robbie Smith; and maternal grandfather, Junior Roper.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, February 07, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 08, 2014, with Arnold Brown, Hobert Seymore, and Leaman Quillen officiating. Interment will follow at Cole Cemetery in Wayne County, TN.
