John Harold Aldridge, 76, of Town Creek, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014. His funeral will be Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Jackson Memory Funeral Home with Brother Rick Gilley officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery in Moulton. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral from noon until 2 p.m.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kate Hill Aldridge, and his brother, Hillard Ray Aldridge.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sullivan Aldridge, of Town Creek; one son, Michael Aldridge (Sandy), of Tuscumbia; three daughters, Joyce Stanley, of Town Creek, Susan Kerby (Rick), of Town Creek, and Monica Cox (Doug), of Decatur; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Will Cox, Lamar Grant, and Gerald Stanley.
