Gene “Calf” Vickery, Jr., age 73 Haleyville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at his residence. He was a graduate of Phillips High School, member of Bear Creek Methodist Church, retired Mobile Home Supply Salesman.
Visitation is Friday, February 7, 2014 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Al. with funeral service following in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m., Bro. Lance Hogan officiating. Burial to follow at Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Guy Hulsey, Paul Flanagan, Billy Wayland, Randy McCrary, Al Phillips, Wes Bean and Brian Vickery.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann Vickery; daughter, Robin DeAnn Wilson; brother, Glenn Vickery; sisters, Vernette Barr and Kathryn Bagwell; grandchildren, Ty and Palmer Wilson; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius Eugene and Lois Arnold Vickery; and sister, Virginia Dees.
