Shirley passed from this life at 10:57 on February 3, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Earnest Scarbrough, Sr.; children, Earnest Scarbrough, Jr., Nancy Connelly, Catherine Fletcher, Donna Jared, Roxanne Kirby and Patty Galaway; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She spent 25 years in the classroom teaching Kindergarten and several years as a Missionary in various countries like Russia and Poland. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ.
The time of the service will be Friday, February 7, 2014 3:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
