“Let Not Your Heart Be Hardened” book signing with photos

FLORENCE-To kick-off Black History month the WC Handy Home hosted a book signing.  The first Black Firefighter and first Black Lieutenant Fire Inspector for the city of Florence was at the WC Handy Home to sign his book “Let Not Your Heart Be Hardened”.  There was a large crowd gathered to get their copies of Joe Duster’s  book signed and to help him celebrate his birthday.
