20140201_5704 copyFLORENCE-To kick-off Black History month the WC Handy Home hosted a book signing.  The first Black Firefighter and first Black Lieutenant Fire Inspector for the city of Florence was at the WC Handy Home to sign his book “Let Not Your Heart Be Hardened”.  There was a large crowd gathered to get their copies of Joe Duster’s  book signed and to help him celebrate his birthday.

The Quad-Cities Daily was there to document the occasion and we have the pictures here.  remember these photos are suitable to download and frame and are for personal use only.
