Henry Ford Pillers – Obituary

Henry Ford Pillers, 90, Russellville, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Russellville Hospital.
The visitation will be noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating at the service will be Brother George Sansbury. Burial will follow at Liberty Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Haleyville, with military honors.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Henrietta Pillers; daughter, Melody P. LeBlanc; grandchildren, John W. Schmidt Jr., Dionne M. Veque; stepgrandchildren, Michael Williams Jr., Danny Williams, Diane Williams, Matthew Williams; great-grandchild, Olivia Buras; siblings, Norma Little, Bobby Pillers; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie Lee and Henry Clay Pillers; sisters, Mildred Fotado, Betty Bullock, Dorothy Howell, Madge Hall, Trubie Brannon; stepson, Michael J. Williams; stepgranddaughter, Angel Williams.
The pallbearers will be John Schmidt Jr., Ronald LeBlanc, Robert Till and Robert Traina.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Russellville Church of God for their prayers and support. Also a special thanks to Russellville Hospital and the VA for your love and care, as well as Dr. Longmire, Dr. Santos, Dr. Jon Sherrod and the Hospice of North Alabama for your care of our family.
