January Boat Registration Deadline Extended

MONTGOMERY-Conservation Commissioner N. Gunter Guy Jr. announces that Alabama boat owners who have renewals due in January

2014 or who need to register new boats will have until Feb. 10, 2014, to complete the task. “The deadline is normally January 31, but since so many people were affected by the severe weather conditions this week, we want to give people a few extra days,” he said.

Boaters just needing to renew a registration can do so online at www.outdooralabama.com, but new registrations must be completed in person at a Judge of Probate or License Commissioner’s office.
