Memorial service for , 83, of Somerville will be Sunday, February 2, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Oak Forest Baptist Church with Bill Pullen, Jimmy Smith and Ed Dunham officiating.
Mrs. Hill, who died Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born November 3, 1930, in Morgan County to Roy Tipper and Bertha Ausbon Tipper. She was a retired nurse and a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church in Somerville. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Hoyt Tipper, Kendall Tipper and Franklin Tipper.
Survivors include her husband, Louis Hill; one son, Ronald C. Zills (Jackie); one daughter, Mary Jane Dunham; stepsons, Douglas Hill (Barb) and Timothy Hill (Trish); stepdaughter, Freda Wright (Roy); one sister, Hazel Doss; four grandchildren, Edward Wayne Dunham (Chrissie), Ronnie Zills, Kimberly King (Chad) and Jeremy Zills (Sarah); several stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
