Funeral for Lona Pearl Millwood Shelton, 94, of Moulton will be Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Copeland officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Shelton died Monday, January 20, 2014, at her residence. She was born June 9, 1919, in Lawrence County to Jimmy and Pinea Millwood. Her passions were family and Pine Grove Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis E. Shelton.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Shelton and Martin Shelton; three daughters, Shirley Moon, Julie Taylor and Marilyn Bozeman; nine grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Marshall Shelton, Hayward Shelton, Bobby Suggs, Paul Moon, Tod Preston and John Ross Martin.
Memorials may be made to Pine Grove Holy Church of Christ Building Fund.
