Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Howard, age 76, are scheduled for 11AM on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Harlan Bingham officiating, burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Mr. Howard passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 in Lexington, TN. He was born May 17, 1937 in Harlan County, KY to the late Miles and Nannie Wilson Howard. He was a fence erecter by trade. He was a member of Crossroads Temple Church in Scotts Hill. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and hunting. Mr. Howard was preceded in death by two brothers, Reed and Homer Howard, and two sisters, Loretta Berryman and Christine Howard. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mrs. Wilma Katherine Poag Howard, two sons, Kenneth Eugene Howard and Roger Darryll Howard, two daughters, Rachel Rushing (Wesley) and Gwendolyn Faye Jimenez, two brothers, Ray and Robert Howard, four sisters, Clara Tarvidas, Sally Rhodes, Opal Burgan, and Delores Lawson, 11 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
