Beverly K. Sparks Wellington, age 51, of Iuka, Miss., died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014.
Her family will receive friends today, 6-9 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Kenneth Bond and Brother Hollis Rutherford officiating. Burial will be at Poplar Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Wellington was a Colbert County native and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Marietta, Miss.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Quinn Gasque.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Wellington; father, Montgomery Gasque; son, Wesley Wellington; daughter, Kayla Wellington Thrasher and husband, Dustin; brothers, Ronnie G. Sparks and wife, Kathy, and Neal Sparks and wife, Babbette; sister, Belinda Sparks Kilpatrick and husband, Don; and one grandson, Wyatt Wellington.
Pallbearers are Jaime Soto, Justin Sharp, Chris Williams, Dewayne “Bit” Wellington, Edward Wellington and Kenneth Saint.
Honorary pallbearers are Cody Wellington and Lane Morgan.
