Funeral service for, 66, will be Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Copeland officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Owens died on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born February 4, 1947, in Morgan County to J.P. Owens and Lillian Margaret Cary Owens. Mr. Owens loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish, running his dogs, and working in his garden. He especially loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
