Tommy Jack (T.C.) Cossey departed this life on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at the age of 64 years, 6 months, 5 days.
He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 30, 1949, the son of the late Hartie and Ellawee Western Cossey. Tommy Jack was a US Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion. He loved playing horseshoes and cards, and loved watching Tennessee football. He had lived and worked in Louisiana and Georgia doing construction work.
Tommy Jack is survived by his daughters, Angela Kay Cossey Payne of Savannah, Tennessee and Sherrie Leah Cossey McGill of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; grandchildren, Lindsey Cossey, Layne Morris, Holly Payne, and Emory Payne; sister, Patsy Benson of Waterloo, Alabama; and brother, Jimmy Ray Cossey of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth Garth Glover; brothers, Charles Cossey, Waymon Cossey, and Bobby Cossey.
