Brandon Wayne “Meathead” Harrison Jr., age 21, of Leighton, died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2013.
His family will receive friends today, 6-9 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Darrell Pickle officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Church of Christ Cemetery.
Brandon was a Colbert County native and a student at Northwest Shoals Community College. He was preceded in death by his uncle, John Eldon Harrison.
Survivors include his parents, Brandon and Trina Harrison; sister, Harlee Michelle Harrison; grandparents, Jerry Wayne Harrison, Doris Mae Harrison, and Benny and Rita Kiser; aunts and uncles, Jerriene and Roger Wilbanks and children, Janise and Chris Omalley and children, and Tasha and Shane Letson and family; cousins, Joshua Blake Harrison and Eldon Chandler Vinson; and special friends, Dana McGuire and family.
Pallbearers will include cousins, Amos Wilbanks, Colburn Wilbanks, Cade Omalley, Chase Stewart, Eldon Chandler Vinson and Josh Harrison.
Honorary pallbearers are Nicholas Terry and Chris Harrison.
The family expresses special thanks to Ms. Lynn Mclean and Donald King.
