Francess Elizabeth Barron, 85 of Ardmore, Tennessee died on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at her home.
Born Sunday, January 29, 1928 in Huntsville, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late John Robert Biggs and the late Myrtle Irene Evans Biggs. She was a member of Ardmore First United Methodist Church and was a member of DAR. She retired teaching school after 57 years of teaching in Lincoln County, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: D.C. Barron, a son: Barry Curtis Barron, a grandson: David Hastings, and a daughter-in-law: Wanda Barron.
Surviving are daughter: Pamela (Bill) White of Athens, AL; sons, Ronald Barron of Ardmore, AL, Donald (Carole) Barron of Ardmore, AL and Mac (Janet) Barron of Ardmore, AL; brother, James Biggs of Huntsville, AL; sister, Glenice Delores Davis of Enterprise, AL; sixteen grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Dwight Wooten and Ricky Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Hasting Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
