Linda Sue Appleton, 66 of Prospect, Tennessee died on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at her home.
Born Wednesday, July 16, 1947 in Prospect, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Holley and the late Dollie Dimple Johnson Russell. She was a member of the Church of CHrist and enjoyed collecting dolls, owls, and angels.
Surviving are her husband: Robert Earl Appleton of Prospect, TN: sons, Eddie & Brenda Massey of Pulaski, TN and Dwight & Rose Sisk of Elkton, TN, daughters, Dolly & Jimmy Adkins Bean of Elkton, TN and Malinda & Patrick Jackson of Minor Hill, TN, step-son: Jason Appleton of Athens, AL; step-daughter: Robbie Appleton Howard of Prospect, TN; grandchildren: Brandy Fox, Patricia Bean, Christina Lyle, Crystal Lyle, Thomas Lyle, Kimberly Massey, Kayela Massey, Eddie Massey, Jr., Mary Massey, Destiny Massey, Marie Humphrey, Rudy Appleton and Shawn Appleton; great-grandchildren: Damien, Landon, Clayton, JoJo, Layla, Shaylin, Preston, Angela, CamCam, Uriah and Zach.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Doug Colwell officiating. Burial will be in Pettusville Cemetery, Elkmont, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
