Melvin Wilson Powell, age 44, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday, January 4, 2014, from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Christian Faith Church Cemetery in Cloverdale. He was the husband of Kay Powell.
