Melvin Wilson Powell, 44, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Saturday at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Christian Faith Church Cemetery, Cloverdale. He was the husband of Kay Powell.
