Hazel Nix, age 88, Hamilton, AL passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Marion Regional Nursing Home, in Hamilton Al. She was born in Hamilton, Al. on Wednesday, July 01, 1925 to Forbie C. and Mattie D. Sudduth Ballard Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2013 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Marion County Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2 P.M. at Marion County Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton City Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Nix; daughter, Starr Nix Mcneese; parents, Forbie C. and Mattie D. Ballard. She leaves to cherish her memory, grandson, McKenzie Mc Neese; 2 sisters, Gladys Eliason Foster and Margaret Logan Isom; special friend, Sheryl Barnwell; host of nieces, nephews and friends. Marion County Funeral Home assisted with the service.
