Letra Mae “Billie” Christian, 96, died Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at the Country Wood Manor in Mantachie. She was born July 9, 1917, in Prentiss County to Sylvester and Cora Bell Pounds Hoard. She was a member of the Beans Ferry Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and also farmed most of her life. She enjoyed yard work and her flowers.
Services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday, December 19, at the McNeece – Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jim Bryant officiating. Burial will be in the Keyes Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Christian (Jean) of Ballardsville; two daughters, Elizabeth Loague (Charles) of Dorsey and Betty Bryant (Bro. Jim) of Red Bay, AL; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Christian; three sisters,two brothers, and her parents.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Doug Loague, Rickey Loague, Dale Loague, Don Loague, Steve Christian, and Terry Hood.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Thursday at the McNeece – Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
