Funeral service for Marlin Clarence Horton, 83, will be Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dewitt Crowe officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Holly Pond Cemetery in Cullman County. Visitation will be Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Horton died on Monday, December 16, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 9, 1930, in Cullman County to Art Horton and Grace Ilene (Scott) Horton. He was a member of Southwest Baptist Church and was the owner of an Auto Body Shop. He was also a U.S. Army-Korean War Veteran. He was preceded in death by a son: Glen A Horton, his parents, and a sister: Ola Gay Estes.
