Morgan-county-featuredMORGAN COUNTY-On Wednesday, December 04, 2013, The Morgan County Drug Task Force along with the Alabama Bureau of Narcotics executed a narcotics search warrant at 145 Turkey Mountain Rd. in the Priceville area.

Agents had received several complaints of drug use and sales. During the execution of the warrant, agents detained Anthony Dewayne Camel and Jonathan Perry. Agents located marijuana, digital scales, and sandwich baggies. Agents also located an amount of marijuana on Mr. Perry.

Agents charged Anthony Dewayne Camel with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st. Mr. Camel was taken to the Morgan County Jail with a anthony camerlbond of $2,500.00.

Mr. Perry was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd . Mr. Perry was taken to the Morgan County Jail with a bond of $300.00.

jonathan perryAfter agents finished with the search warrant at 145 Turkey Mountain Rd. Agents went to 269 Turkey Mountain Rd. and made contact with the homeowners. Agents had received information of drug use and possible sales there as well. Agents conducted a search of the residence and discovered drug paraphernalia items. Agents also discovered a pair of Hawk’s talons. An agent with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service was called to handle the Hawk Talons. Fish and Wildife Agent confiscated the talons and possible federal charges are forthcoming.
