Funeral services for Norman Lee Gearhart, 78, of Trinity, will be Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m., at Parkway Funeral Home with Brother Eric Mattox officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 9, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mr. Gearhart died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, in Trinity. He was born June 15, 1935, in Three Rivers, Mich. He was retired from Local Union 760 as a pipefitter/welder. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Leona Gearhart, and brother, Charles Gearhart.
Survivors include two sons, Norman J. Gearhart, of Trinity, and Dale (Tara) Gearhart, of Birmingham; and two daughters, Marcie (Allen) Gladwell, of Priceville, and Leola Foust, of Knoxville, Tenn.; brothers, Richard (Joyce) Gearhart and Robert (Kitty) Gearhart; sister-in-law, Mary Gearhart; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
