Billie C. Oswalt Sr., 75, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born September 24, 1938 to the late Claude and Vassie Adams Oswalt. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He was a beekeeper and worked for many years as a carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Oswalt of Fulton, 3 Sons, Billy Claude (Shelia) Oswalt Jr. of Mooreville, Jonathan Mark (Rose) Oswalt of Biloxi, and Jackie Rankin, 2 Daughters, Rhonda (Ronald) Loeb of Madison, MS, and Jenny Miniard of Fulton, 11 Grandchildren and 1 Great-grandchild, 2 Sisters, Edith (Leonard) London of Orlando, FL, and Bobbie Turner of Collierville, TN, 2 Brothers, Kelly (Jan) Oswalt of Kenosha, and Donnie (Sandie) Oswalt of Kenosha, 1 Aunt, Vyrl Hood of Fulton, Several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Claude and Vassie Oswalt, 2 Sisters, Carolyn Young, and Erna Oswalt.
Pallbearers will be Jack London, Mark London, Jim Turner, Mike Oswalt, Sammy Harris, Mark Neilson, Steve Wilemon, Tommy Oswalt, Jeff Wilemon, Matt Oswalt, Robert Oswalt.
