Funeral for Fred Rylant Jr., 69, of Danville will be Thursday, December 5, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Presnell officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Rylant, who died Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born August 10, 1944, in Morgan County to Fred Rylant Sr. and Sadie Francis King Rylant. He was formerly employed by Classic Panel as the plant manager. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Rylant; two sons, Rodney Rylant (Angie) of Hartselle and Patrick Rylant of Birmingham; three daughters, Peggy Rylant and Missy Hutto (Jeff), both of Danville, and Carrie LeMieux (Andre) of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Betty Holbert of Decatur and Judy Cook (Larry) of Athens; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Cook, Jackie Holbert, Mike Holbert, Josh Barbee, Mike Berryhill and Jeremy Eddy.
