Allen Leroy “Sweet Pea” Clement – Obituary

Allen Leroy “Sweet Pea” Clement, 73, of Florence, died Nov. 23, 2013, at his residence.
He was a slitter operator at Reynolds Alloys Plant for 38 years, and was a member of Aluminum Alloys Local #200.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Doug Thornburg officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Clement was preceded in death by his son, John W. Clement; grandson, Tyler Sagely; parents, Allen and Rachel Clement; sister, Evelyn Thornburg; and brother, C.W. Clement.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Allen Clement (Loretta), Lee Wylie Clement (Donna), all of Florence; daughter, Jamie S. Quick (Tab), of Fayetteville, Tenn.; brother, Jessie David Clement (Peggy), of Michigan; grandchildren, Michael Clement Jr., Christopher Clement, Brittany Yarbrough, Amber, Shelby and Seth Quick; and special friends, Sue Wylie and Jean Renner.
Active pallbearers will be Christopher Clement, Tab Quick, Seth Quick, Kenneth Arnold, Bubba Gipson and Bobby Pitman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Clement Jr. and Bobby Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to cancer research.
