Mary Elizabeth Casteel Phillips, age 90, of Ethridge, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Countryside Healthcare in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Giles County, TN, retired from Henry Blankenship, a homemaker, and a member of Unity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard C. and Lura Mae Parker Casteel; her husband, Delmor Phillips; one son, Glen Phillips; three brothers, James Thomas Casteel, Leonard Eugene Casteel, and Charles Walter Casteel; and two sisters, Geraldine Casteel Hubbs and Connie Sue Casteel.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2013, with Randall Runions officiating. Interment will follow at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
