Steve W. McKinney 58, of Muscle Shoals and Orange Beach, Ala., died Nov. 4, 2013. A private service for family and close friends will be held at 2 p.m. at Woodward Avenue Baptist Church, Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, with graveside services to follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Brother Glen Daily is officiating.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester McKinney Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Connie McKinney; Wife, Lisa McKinney; Brothers, Chester McKinney, Jr. (Jenny) and Joe McKinney (Genia); Sister, Beth McKinney; Nephews, Chet McKinney lll, Duncan McKinney and Colton McKinney; and Niece, Sydney McKinney.
Pallbearers will be Pete Akers, Billy Pierce, Steve Lee, Bobby Senter, Tom Summerville, Keary McCormick, Bobby Queen and Mike Reily.
Mr. McKinney was a member of the Baptist faith, a beloved son, husband and brother. He was president of Southern Fastening Systems Inc., on the Board of Directors of First Southern Bank, a member of Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club and a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at Auburn University.
