FLORENCE – A Killen man, David E. Gray, accused of possessing at least 150 photographs of child porn had his first appearance in court today (Monday). He was brought before District Judge Carole Medley this afternoon to have the felony charges officially read to him. This is the first step in what will prove to be a lengthy through the court system for the 31-year old man.
Gray, who recently was living at 450 Brush Creek Road, is being held on a $750-thousand bond. According to a source at the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s office, the State’s case against Gray will continue to be built during the next several months. The 150 counts were brought against Gray for what was allegedly found on only one external hard drive. In all, 9 hard drives were retrieved from the Brush Creek house. The remaining drives are being processed to determine if any child pornography is contained on them.
Detectives and forensic specialists were at the house today. A source tells The Quad-Cities Daily that officers collected more suspicious material from the house for analysis.

Well, he probably didn’t need nine external hard drives just for last Christmas’ photos, now did he?
